Early in my 25 year career,
I heard of designers who told their clients they had to get rid of family heirlooms
or had to use a particular fabric and flooring, even though they didn’t like it,
because it went with the rest of the design.
I wondered:
What if people weren’t intimidated by a designer?
What if they realized they could work with a designer without feeling judged?
What if they understood they could stay in control?
I decided I wanted to be that kind of designer.
In fact, it’s become my superpower –
Listening to and working with my clients
To create beautiful, well-planned spaces that actually
Reflect them.
